Just a quick update to announce that we have a cesarean section scheduled for Friday, October 19!! I will be 36 weeks and 5 days on that day. It is amazing how long the twins were able to stay put-- much longer than anyone anticipated. We couldn't be happier or more excited to meet Teagan and Grant in 2 days! As of last week's ultrasound, Teagan weighed 5lbs 8 oz and Grant was 5 lbs 5 oz. Our doctor at Maternal Fetal Medicine was very pleased with these numbers, especially that there was not a large discrepancy between their sizes. He was in agreement with moving ahead with delivery via c-section. Vaginal delivery is not possible due to how the twins are positioned in the uterus-- Grant is transverse and Teagan is breech.
